Teenage Treks
Sheffield Socialisation & Training Tips for Teenage Terrors
How do you know if your perfect puppy has turned into a teenage terror?
1) They stop listening to you and ignore what you ask them to do.
2) Their rock solid recall has all but been lost – all it takes is the sight of another dog, and whoosh, they’re off!
3) They’ve forgotten how to do anything calmly, and their behaviour is 99% boisterous
4) Literally anything and everything is much more fun, exciting and interesting than hanging around with you or listening to you.
If any of that sounds familiar, and you’re looking for answers to your questions, and solutions to your teenage dog training problems
Book yourself onto my Teenage Training Treks, for pooches aged between 12-24 months.
Here’s what you need to know:
We meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 11a.m. till 1pm (any earlier, and the teenagers wouldn’t turn up!)
Places are limited to 5 teenage pooches per Trek
The meeting location for each Trek will vary - variety is the spice of life, after all!
Price: £30 per teenager
What happens on a Teenage Training Trek?
Gravy bone breaker – say hello and get to know each other

Depending on the walk location, there may be opportunities to let your pooch off lead.
If you decide to let them roam freely, you accept full responsibility for their behaviour.
Happy Puppy Owners say:
“We recently did the ‘teenage training trek’ with our 19 month old Cockapoo, and he loved it – it was great to have something for the slightly older pups who have missed out on socialisation opportunities during covid.
Meera is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and she gave us lots of great advice which we’re already putting into practice.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, and we’re already looking forward to the next trek!”
