Are you a first-time puppy owner in Sheffield?
Are you stressed out or worried about your puppy’s training or behaviour?
Are you struggling to get control of your quickly growing puppy, and do you need help FAST?
Feeling fed up because you’re trying everything to train your puppy, but nothing is working?
If you’ve answered yes to any of my questions, I can help you to:
Take the stress and confusion out of training and socialising your puppy.
Understand why your puppy sometimes behaves like a gremlin that’s been fed after midnight.
Positively train, confidently raise and safely socialise your puppy.
At the Sheffield Practically Perfect Puppy small-group puppy class, we will:
Do brilliantly at not making the same mistakes as everyone else when it comes to raising, training and socialising your puppy.
This means absolutely no “sit, stay, wait” boring nonsense and instead, focusing on:
Unlocking the secrets to how puppies learn – once you know this, a lot of their weird behaviour will make sense!
How to get your puppy to listen to you – even when they’re distracted.
Finding your puppy’s off-switch (there is one, I promise!) and teaching them how to be calm and relaxed.
Practical training to help stop your puppy from jumping up / nipping.
This class is suitable for pups aged up to 10 months old.
Maximum four puppies in my classes.

Here’s what some of my happy puppy clients had to say about training with me:
“We had a great experience with Meera, when we were overwhelmed as new puppy owners. Meera helped us contextualise our Puppies’ behaviour and gave us lots of advice as well as practical suggestions of things to do. Our Puppy is now 8 months old and doing really well. Thanks Meera!” – F. Turner, pawrent to Bobbette, Irish Doodle.
“Meera has been brilliant for us all. We would highly recommend Meera to anyone who wants support with their new puppy. She helped to simpify a very complex world of training and approaches. She took us through each session with easy to understand steps and plans. She supported with additional documentation, support calls and Whatsapp encouragement – all of which is really welcome. She helped us guide Stella through so many elements of her training – that we thought we would never get right – and got us through the tricky ‘have we made the right decision getting a puppy’ which we definitely went through.
Meera gets puppy’s, dogs and animals – that is clear, and her love of helping them shone through throughout. Our sessions went really quickly and we were able to see Stella’s progress from week to week. Thanks Meera!!!
If you are feeling overwhelmed with how to support and train your puppy get in touch with Meera to help you – it has made such a difference for us :)” – D Vallance, pawrent to Stella, Standard Goldendoodle.
“Meera is friendly, encouraging and she has been so supportive. She really does care about us and our pup and she makes the training enjoyable. She also gives you space and time to allow you and your dog to learn and put the training into practice before the next steps. We’re looking forward to what she has in store for our teenage pup next!” – M.Butler pawrent to Parker, Miniature EBT.
“Meera was an absolute dream, put me at ease from start to finish. I originally got in touch has my cockapoo was a barker & puller on the lead. The tricks I knew & used on my previous dogs just weren’t working. We had a 121 session after a phone consultation & the changes after that first session were amazing! My cockapoo is a quick learner but wasn’t expecting him to pick up on these new tips & tricks Meera taught us in that one session. I’ve put the time & effort in as she advised & he’s doing so much better now. Walks are enjoyable & my wrist no longer hurt from the pulling. Can’t wait to use Meera again for a few more little issues we have, it was a pleasure to work with her.” – L.Foster – pawrent to Barney the Cockapoo.
